Q: Please tell us a little about yourself and the significance of travel for you. How have you been curating luxury travel experiences?
A: I’m originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. Today I currently reside in the Washington DC area. I am a Howard Alum and currently a Sales Executive for a Fortune 500 technology company. Travel is special to me because just for a short stay I get to experience what it’s like to live in a new exciting place. It’s important that I travel because it’s my form of therapy. Mogul Trips has been creating luxury travel experiences for about 2 years.
Q: What is MogulTrips and what motivated and inspired you to create the brand?
A: Mogul Trips is a black-owned Luxury Travel Concierge that caters to millennials who work hard and want to vacation in style. My best friend and I created this service for young professionals who work hard and want to reward themselves with travel.
Q. Can you tell us a few of your favorite travel destinations and why?
A: I absolutely love Costa Rica. Their saying “Pura Vida” means pure life. Their rainforests are filled with the most unique and beautiful animals and captivating views. Tulum, Mexico is such a chic hideaway vacation. I loved exploring the cenotes while eating street tacos and empanadas (yummy). Casa Malca is one of my go-to luxury destinations to visit while there.
Q. What do you find to be the most rewarding when curating luxury experiences for others?
A. The most rewarding part is seeing someone travel to a new place they’ve never been before. I also love the photos and videos of my clients enjoying themselves. Our clients still rave about the trips from the past.
Q. What’s on the horizon for MogulTrips in 2021?
A. Mogul Trips is expanding with new services and products. We are hosting events this year and continuing to provide safe travel during and post Covid19.
